The success of entrepreneurial ventures depends on the success of the entrepreneurs – their ability to convert their ideas into profitable businesses, their ability to build and lead organisations and most importantly, help these become institutions that transcend them and their personal brilliance.
CFI’s team of coaches has worked with entrepreneurs through their various stages of growth or have been entrepreneurs themselves. With a combination of hard to find functional and domain capabilities, leadership wisdom and of course business mentoring and leadership coaching know-how, CFI is in a unique position to contribute to entrepreneurial success in a variety of contexts – start-ups or high growth, individual promoters and founders or family businesses.
The CFI coaching and mentoring program is typically a one-year program combining business mentoring support to grow the business with executive coaching to develop the entrepreneur’s leadership abilities.
Based on a strong foundation of trust and backed by a sound assessment of the business and leadership abilities, the coach is able to help the entrepreneur establish a clear developmental agenda and work on it.
A combination of structured sessions and spontaneous support help the entrepreneur make steady progress.
The typical agendas on which entrepreneurs see value in engaging our coaches include articulating the vision and mission, crafting strategy, dealing with a variety of business challenges, fund raising, constantly redesigning the organisation and key roles, building culture, handling co-founder dynamics, hiring well, managing generational changes in family businesses and working with the Board.
CFI defines Coaching as a very personal, humanistic, result-oriented, potential enhancing developmental relationship, structured between an executive seeking to further their growth and a formally trained, skilled and empathetic coach.
Coaching aids leader development but is not therapy and is not intended to treat any form of mental illness.
